Unfortunately, we were overwhelmed with smoke fumes, grime & filth! The parking garage spelled like urine! No security noticeable outside or surrounding the proximity. My husband & I checked in on 8/1/22 for what was supposed to be a wonderful birthday vacation for myself. He clearly has not visited this venue.he would be embarrassed. Tillman Fertitta (owner) has always had a keen sense of how to create a great, quality entertainment experience in ALL of his entertainment venues, which is why we chose this hotel/casino. Nice view from balcony but need ear plugs as all balconies are over the facility's main ac units. The only nice thing is the location, on the water. Mind you, there wasn't another soul around the pool area. We couldn't even just check out pool area (in street clothes) without signing up and showing proof of being a guest and wearing a wrist band. Gambling much tighter than other casinos. Staff at to-go grill were very rude each day but only place to grab a bite or snack after 9pm. We forgot to bring our current AARP card but had the expired one, so we didn't get the reduced rate, which was not a big deal, except that our friends weren't even members of AARP and had no card got the reduced rate standing right next to us at check-in. Water to rooms shut off one day, elevators didn't work one day. They updated the pool and added landscaping but that's it. It's the (very) old Isle of Capri, no updates especially to rooms. Way too many better casinos in Biloxi where I won’t be treated like I’m trash. We will never spend a dime at that casino again. I haven’t received a refund for the $223 and our night away was ruined, so we ended up gong home. She stated it was refunded and she was not giving me a receipt. I stood there for 1/2 hour waiting for an email and never received it. She said she sent me an email, which I never received. I asked for a printed receipt saying it was being refunded but they claimed the printer was down. She said we could leave and she would refund our money. They offered to switch us to a standard room and we said no because we reserved a terrace room, which the manager stated we did not, even though we did.

We went to dinner and then the pool, came back and the smell had lingered into our room. Then we went up to our room and the hallway was filled with the smell of marijuana. The manager checked us in and was very rude. We reserved a terrace room and had nothing but issues from the moment we arrived. After being cooped up with 2 kids for 2 1/2 months, my husband and I really needed a getaway.
